csGrain is the first in a new line of innovative and imaginative Csound-based audio tools for the iPad.

csGrain has ten core effects; Pitch Shift, Ring Modulation, Chorus, Flanger, Delay, Reverse, High-Pass Filter, Low-Pass Filter, Reverb, and SyncGrain (a real-time granular synthesizer). A Compressor and Limiter are also included for post-processing.
You can record and edit audio from within the app or import audio from iTunes, Dropbox, or AudioCopy to remix in real-time.

Use the SoundCloud player, located in the sidebar under the "why we create" header, to listen to audio examples of some of csGrain's presets. All of the audio was recorded directly from the application with no further processing and should give you an idea of the variety of sounds that csGrain is capable of producing.
